Privacy Policy

Our promise, in plain words

Your conversations with Guided are private to you. We do not sell your data. We do not use your conversations for advertising. We do not share your religious affiliation with third parties for marketing purposes.

What we collect

• Account info: email address, display name, and (if you sign in with a provider like Google) basic profile fields.
• Faith profile: the tradition and denomination you choose. We treat this as sensitive personal data and use it only to personalize your responses inside Guided.
• Conversations: messages you send and responses generated by our AI model, stored so you can revisit your history.
• Usage: daily message counts (to enforce free-tier limits), subscription status, and standard technical logs.

How we use it

We use your data solely to operate Guided: to authenticate you, generate faith-adaptive responses, remember your conversations, deliver the Daily Devotional, process subscriptions, and secure the service. That's it.

AI processing

To generate responses, your messages are sent to a third-party AI provider through the Lovable AI Gateway. Providers process messages transiently to produce a response and do not train their public models on your content under our agreement. Do not share information you would not otherwise put into a third-party service.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers we need to operate Guided — hosting, database, AI inference, payments (Stripe), and email — each bound by contractual privacy commitments. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep your data until you delete it. Delete individual conversations from Settings → Clear history, or delete your entire account from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account.

Your rights (including deletion)

You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. The Delete account action in Settings removes your conversations, messages, faith profile, subscription record, and account login. If you need help with any request beyond what the app offers, email privacy@guided.app.

Security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted via row-level security so signed-in users can only read their own conversations, faith profile, subscription, and usage records.

Children

Guided is not intended for children under 13.
