Terms of Service

1. Welcome

Guided ("we", "us") provides a software companion that offers educational spiritual content shaped by the faith tradition you select. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. What Guided is — and isn't

Guided provides educational spiritual content and reflection prompts. Guided is not clergy, does not provide binding religious rulings (fatwas, halachic responsa, absolution, sacraments, or equivalents), and is not a substitute for a qualified religious leader in your community.

Guided does not provide medical care, mental health care, therapy, or legal advice. For those needs, please consult a licensed clinician, counselor, attorney, or other qualified professional. If you are in crisis, please contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (call or text 988) or the Crisis Text Line (text HOME to 741741).

3. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Guided. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — for example, by attempting to extract harmful content, impersonating others, disrupting operations, or violating applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Some features (such as unlimited messaging and the Daily Devotional) require a paid Guided Plus subscription. Trials, renewals, and cancellations are handled through our payment processor. You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage billing; access continues through the end of the current billing period.

6. Content and AI responses

Responses are generated by AI models. While we tune the system to draw on the actual scripture, teachers, and doctrine of your tradition, responses can be incomplete or occasionally inaccurate. Do not rely on Guided for authoritative religious rulings or professional advice.

7. Intellectual property

Guided and its content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of what you write. By submitting messages, you grant us a limited license to process them to deliver the service.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Guided is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
